In the meantime I co-founded Stratalis Tech and shipped Discom360, including two mobile apps that are now live on both app stores. I co-authored a paper, built the pipeline behind a 445 GB research dataset, and spent six months helping run the lab that collected it. None of that was here.
So this is a rewrite. The site now leads with what I’ve built rather than what I’m curious about, and it has room for the things that don’t fit anywhere else.
Most of what I find interesting is invisible on a CV. A line item saying “smart-meter integration” carries none of the actual work, such as the afternoon spent working out why a device answers on one network and goes silent on another.
That kind of thing is hard to put on LinkedIn and easy to put here. So it goes here.
Plain Jekyll, no theme, deployed to GitHub Pages by a workflow that runs on
every push to main. Posts are markdown files in _posts/. Content that repeats
across pages, such as roles, projects and research outputs, lives in _data/ as
YAML. Updating the site means editing a few lines rather than hunting through
HTML.
The fonts, the dotted rules and the shell prompt at the top are the same as they always were. I like them. The point was never to redesign the place, only to stop it from lying about who I am.
